Did you realize polka dots can be dated back to the medieval time when ladies used bits and pieces of fabric to cover their facial blemishes? It has been reinvented time and again, from cartoon character Minnie Mouse, to haute couture Christian Dior, to comedic icon Lucille Ball and still making it a power tool for modern artist Yayoi Kusama.

Don’t be fool by its somewhat frilly reputation; Polka dot is a force to be reckoned.
